1. WoW classes comparing with EVE races - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: DubanFP Even mentioning "that game" is pretty much taboo. Most EVE players, including myself, think of "that game" as a simple, no risk, ego booster that doesn't actually prove anything besides how many hours you spent on yo...

2. Learning Skills - Idea for removal - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Hasak Rain Wow, I didn't know CCP were considering changing it. You have a link or any proof of this at all? Never once did I say that CCP were going to remove/change/tinker with learning skills, but I'm sure it is on...

3. Learning Skills - Idea for removal - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I'm tired of both sides whining and pitching a fit... no one even begins to debate this from CCP's perspective. The truth is- there ARE players that are turned away by the 'requirement' (and yes, it is a requirement as this point- just like mwds ...

4. How to make eve more hard core - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I'm going to be completely honest- if there wasn't sufficient insurance to cover the base cost of a T1 ship, I don't think I'd have stuck with EVE this long... I have no problems losing a ship, and I'm not broke, but I would never have a ship read...

5. The specified proxy or server node (1000202) is dead - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I've gotten it too after cloning back up to empire-- relogged several times, nothing... restarted computer-- nothing. Searched these forums... guess what? it's an old issue that CCP SAID WAS RESOLVED. Will adamantly wait until it is fixed, becau...

6. Learning Skills - Idea for removal - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I must agree, in part, with the OP-- learning skills really detract from the overall experience... Most new players want to get into flying the more powerful ships- especially battleships- and if CCP wanted to increase subscriptions, they would s...

8. The Nano Problem - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Well, you can add a many more numerous cruiser class ships (and interdictors) onto the "can-be-nano'd" list. It's not uncommon to nano a Curse... But the true problem is it's fairly easy to stack speed modules and rigs and keep boosting the speed...

9. We need a new set of bloodlines - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: In Theory on 07/03/2008 05:33:10 Here's a thought- make charisma directly influence the amount of isk you can default-sell items for (not putting them up on market, just the default offer) and even the npc taxes. It's quite reasonab...

Just wondering if there might be a link or mirror to download an installer for the premium content... it's not a problem to download through the client, but it'd be nice to have a mirror or otherwise that I could download and save (backup) the con...

15. not far away from walking on planets - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
except that part of the underlying problem is that large-class starships are NOT interplanetary, as the thrusters required to counteract the violent re-entrance into atmosphere would most likely collapse the ship. Battleships, Battlecruisers (and...

16. Hypothetical Amarr Thread - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I'll step in to add my thoughts; to the above poster, that's essentially what's going on, but with lowering the cap use of lasers, the cap use reduction bonus nearly every amarr ships has needs to be lifted and replaced with a better more suitable...

20. Speed is not Eve. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
